You know what they say—necessity is the mother of invention—and that couldn’t be more true for me.

I’m Saïka Bince, the founder and designer behind Label The Muse, a legacy-driven luxury brand redefining what it means to be both mother and muse. This brand was born out of a moment that changed everything. One morning, while packing a diaper bag, I caught my reflection in the mirror—and I didn’t recognize her. The woman who once styled every outfit down to the last detail now carried a bag that felt more like a utility belt than an extension of her identity.

That moment sparked something in me.

I wasn’t just designing a handbag—I was reclaiming my reflection.

Label The Muse was born as a love letter to the woman I used to be and the mother I was becoming.

Every piece in the collection is handcrafted with couture-level detail and purpose—because function should never come at the cost of beauty. Our signature handbags are designed to meet the demands of modern motherhood, without compromising the woman behind it all. Water-resistant linings, double-insulated bottle holders, luxe vegan leathers, and sculptural silhouettes—every detail is intentional, made to support a life lived fully and fashionably.

But this isn’t just about handbags. It’s about heritage.

Each design carries the name of a matriarch in my family.

• Kesner, the first bag I ever made, honors my grandmother—graceful, grounded, and regal.
• Ti Nette, a compact piece named after my mother Brunette, is for the girls’ nights, the glamour, the quiet power.
• Bince, our boldest silhouette, is a reflection of my own identity—crafted in the shape of a woman’s body, she represents the duality of sensuality and sacrifice, of motherhood and selfhood.

Together, they tell a generational story of Black motherhood, resilience, and style.
